The 21st Uzbekistan International Exhibition Construction - UzBuild 2020 to be held February 25-28, 2020, at Uzexpocentre NEC in Tashkent will open the new exhibition season, with all the events organized by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company.

Every year, this international industry platform which is traditionally at the forefront and held in high repute in the construction community, will host domestic and international manufacturers of construction materials to showcase their best achievements, technologies, and special-purpose equipment.

The event is held with the official support from the Ministry of Construction of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Uzpromstroymaterialy Association, QurilishMashLizing National Specialized Leasing Company JSC, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Uzexpocentre NEC.

The General Sponsor of UzBuild 2020 Exhibition is Kastamonu Company (Turkey).

EXPOSITION:

The exposition will occupy more than 19,000 sq. m. (gross) of the exhibition area at Uzexpocentre.

The front and center sections of UzBuild 2020 are Construction and Finish Materials; Interior and Design; Windows; Doors; Facades; Tools and Fasteners; Ceramics and Trim Stone; Real Property; House Construction, Architecture and Decorative Design; Light; Electrical Products; Landscaping.

This year, the exhibition will host 400 participant companies and brands from 25 countries, which is definitely a record number: Austria, Azerbaijan, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Georgia, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Liechtenstein, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, the UAE, the USA, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine.

For 175 exhibitors, their participation in 2020 exhibition is a debut; 134 of them are international companies, and 25 are domestic manufacturers.

National groups at the exhibition are represented by exhibitors from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey. For the companies from Georgia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, it is the first time to participate in this exhibition.

This year, Germany represents a European National Group comprised of 30 companies, which requires considerable expanding their exposition area. The German manufacturers will showcase a wide range of equipment, technologies, construction products and accessory components.

Turkey that annually takes part in UzBuild, this year participates with its National Group and has a strong lead as regards the number of participant companies: there are 129 exhibitors from Turkey! Among others, they include E-MAK, GEOMAS, HİLAL ALÜMİNYUM, MARSHALL, MESA İMALAT, ONDULİNE, Assan Panel, and Marshall, as well as Kastamonu manufacturing company that has 13 major factories operating worldwide and is the General Sponsor of this year’s exhibition! Kastamonu will introduce to Uzbekistan’s construction market its innovative product, water-resistant and fire resisting MDF boards, and come out with the special partnership offer for those designers visiting the Kastamonu booth! 

It is the sixth time for the United Arab Emirates National Group to take part in UzBuild. The 9 companies from the United Arab Emirates will offer the visitors to the 2020 exhibition their new products, which include, among others, Emirates Building Systems LLC, HEPWORTH, Kirby Building Systems - TSIO Supreme, Memaar Building Systems – the subsidiary of Emaar Industries and Investments (EII), – and others (Pavilion 1).

The Russian exposition is represented by 16 companies including Severstal PJSC, a supplier of rolled metal and steel products; TechnoNICOL Corporation, a manufacturer of roofing, water-, sound-, and heat insulating materials; Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works PJSC, an integrated metallurgical complex. The regional companies are Bentizol; Techstroy; Temper; BERSERKER; Protekt Research and Manufacturing Complex; United Yaroslavl Paints JSC; JSC Yarstroytekhnika JSC, Timokhiny Derevyashki LLC; Strofiber factory; Cork House; Laverna Global; TRIS; Efbrash, and others.

The Russian regions that annually actively participate in the exhibition are represented by Kirov, Kurgan, Lipetsk, Chuvash and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The list of participants in UzBuild is annually enlarged with European companies and brands. Thus, in 2020, as many as 16 Italian manufacturing companies and suppliers of modern equipment and building materials, including Schnell SPA, MEP, Gamma meccanica SPA, Imer Group, Capaccioli, Nordim Pianti, Laminam, Novatec, and others, participate in the exhibition. Spain is represented by its largest brands, namely, Resimart Iberica, Poyatos, Beralmar, Prensoland, and Atarfil.

What is certain is that domestic companies, too, annually participate in the international exhibition Construction – UzBuild; as many as 32 Uzbek companies are exhibiting this year!

It is also worth noting that, this year, the specialized section Construction Machinery and Technologies - BuildTech, which annually occupies the outdoor site at Uzexpocentre, will be arranged as a separate exhibition. The events of the UzBuild 2020 Business Programme will bring together key players in the construction market, representatives of government agencies, industry associations and unions to discuss the results of the previous year, discussions on pressing current issues, and present plans for the next period.

The program is presented by a number of specialized events, including the second International Conference of the Construction Industry “ICCI 2020”, seminars, lectures and master classes, as well as professional meetings and discussions, presentations of new construction technologies and architectural solutions.

The exhibition’s business program will be attended by leading industry experts, heads of major international companies - leaders of the world construction market, architects of world famous bureaus and many other specialists.

For the first time at the UzBuild exhibition, the Trade Mission of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Bashkortostan organizes negotiations with its leading manufacturers. Date and time of the meetings: February 25-28, 2020,

BUSINESS PROGRAMME AGENDA

The first day of Business Programme will include a seminar, master classes, and prize drawing organized by Leica Geosystems (Liechtenstein), the world leader in the field of geospatial measurements.

The main subject of the Business Programme is the 2nd International Construction Industry Conference ICCI 2020.

Representatives of line ministries and departments will discuss the industry’s current trends as part of the Plenary Session on Global Trends in Development of Construction Industry in Uzbekistan.

The Chairman of the Association of Architects, Designers and Other Professional Participants of Construction Industry (Kazakhstan) also will take part in the Plenary Session of the Conference to give a speech about global trends and design.

The first Conference day’s programme will be followed by the Technical Session devoted to construction and architecture trends.

The representative of the Urban Development and Agglomeration Department of Agency for Urbanization under the Ministry of Economy and Industry; Severstal Head of Sales; Director General of First Development Group, the leading development company in Uzbekistan; representative of the Russian company NOVIY DOM KNAUF; the bank analyst of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will make presentations on the aforesaid subject.

The Conference will also be attended by a special guest, Gian Luca Barone of the worldwide renowned ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS architecture company, - the winner of numerous international awards, with huge experience in management of complex infrastructure projects in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East! His presentation is scheduled for February 26, 2020, at 5:20 p.m.

The other subjects to be covered at the Technical Sessions are also expected to be of great interest, namely, BIM Technology; Production of Cement and Dry Building Materials; and Interior & Design. The speakers at these sessions will include Deputy Board Chairman of Uzpromstroymaterialy, President of Oikos Company (Italy) and Oikos architect and project designer for the CIS and other international experts. At the end of each session, there will be held discussions and Qs and As.
