Chinese Anke plans to create a plant of electrical appliances in Kushtep for $ 10 million

It will produce 500 thousand lamps and will be able to export goods worth up to $ 1 million.

In the Kushtepinsky district of the Ferghana region, it is planned to implement nine investment projects with a total value of $ 40 million. This is reported by the region of Khokimyat.

The head of the regional administration Khairullo Bazarov last week met with businessmen and their foreign partners. It discussed projects in sectors such as construction, food industry, electrical engineering and knitted production.

Investors expect to put objects into operation by mid -2026. In total, 1.2 thousand new jobs will be created in the district special industrial zone.

One of the projects provides for the creation of the production of lighting lamps and other electrical appliances together with Chinese Anke. The plant will be located in the territory of 0.5 hectares and will cost $ 10 million, which are planned to be covered due to foreign investment.

Every year, the company will produce 500 thousand lamps per 100 billion soums. The export potential is estimated at $ 1 million, primarily due to deliveries to the markets of Russia and China.

In addition, Rizo Metall plans to open in Kushtepe for $ 3 million a plant of metal products - nails, screws, wire grids. It will produce 2 thousand tons of products for 15 billion soums, as well as export the goods to $ 0.5 million to the CIS and the European Union.
